The concept
‘Be the change, not the cause’ is a concept that shows all the problems caused by plastic pollution and the reality of what is going on under the surface. I chose to create a plastic whale which shows what happens with our garbage, all the abandoned nets and the ‘still’ healthy calf shows us that it’s not too late for change.
My goals
My goal with this project was to wake people up and show them what happens with our trash. I want to inspire people to help working on a ecological, plastic free future. “Be the change, not the cause” will entitle the project and is a quote written by Stijn Dijkstra on 21 january 2019.
